WHO YOU KNOW OPENS DOORS, WHAT YOU KNOW HELPS YOU STAY…
One of Hannah’s favorite sayings, which she learned from her Mom, encourages the importance of networking and acquiring a lot of knowledge. It emphasizes that who you know opens doors and what you know helps you stay. She’s followed this mantra throughout her decade long career gaining experience working events and creating an impressive networking web with other industry leaders. During graduate school at the University of Central Florida, Hannah studied for two degrees in Sports Business Management and Business Administration. While Hannah worked many internships and a graduate program, she took her Mom’s advice and stayed in contact with those she worked with. This is how Hannah heard about an opening with the Dallas Wings just a few months prior to her graduation in 2022.
Hannah thoroughly enjoys highlighting fans on the Wings’ different platforms. Besides showcasing stories, her other favorite aspect of her work includes greeting guests as they enter the event and seeing the next generation have such excitement on their young faces and passion for the game. Hannah is very excited about the future of the WNBA and the expansion of the league!
Hannah has been lucky enough to come from a sports family and work many different avenues in the industry. One of her favorite memories was from the very beginning of her career when she worked an event with her Mom, who runs the Kansas City Sports Commission, setting up the 2015 Royals World Series championship parade and then again in 2020 for the Chiefs Super Bowl championship parade.
BEYOND THE EVENTS:
Outside of work, Hannah loves to hang out with her friends and catch up with her family remotely. She grew up at a lake near Kansas City, so she loves to be outside when she can. She has a sister in Vancouver, Washington who she visits often and one of their favorite activities if they’re not outside playing is to see how fast they can put puzzles together!
Hannah comes from a big college football family and loves to watch it when she can. Hannah and her fiancé Nate, just traveled to Ireland to go see the Iowa State and Kansas State game. Hannah and Nate have been together for four years and met while they both were working a Big 12 basketball tournament. They got engaged in April 2025 and are very excited to be planning their upcoming wedding that’s happening in May 2026!
Hannah has been an athlete in many sports and surrounded by the industry all her life, she’s completed seven triathlons! She got into triathlons because her Mom puts on sporting events and Hannah would help her with the Triathlon. One morning she got sick of setting up bike racks at three in the morning, and decided to be in the event instead of working it!
