INTEGRATING ORGANICALLY…
Caroline’s career in sports started when the California native went across the country to be a Division II Volleyball student athlete and major in Sports Admin. She earned an internship with UFC in sponsorship and has been working with teams and sports partners ever since.

Now at the USOPC, Caroline is developing new initiatives. She’s working on the live event strategy for how Team USA engages with fans and partners in LA28. The aim: to evolve the Olympic brand beyond the "rings" and toward organic integration. “Where do our brands intersect, and finding ways to partner there,” she says.

Having crossed the country more than once for her career, Caroline believes that adaptability has been vital to her journey. She says, “It grew my network and experiences. I would have been so much more limited if I had not been open to those moves.” Especially for anyone early in their career, she’s an advocate for saying “yes” to opportunities wherever they might take you.

BEYOND THE EVENTS:
Caroline finds the greatest joy in the teams she works with. She advises, “Make sure you have a good team around you.” It’s less about the what and more about the who.

For those starting out in the business, Caroline advises they have as broad a range of knowledge as possible. Be and expert in what you do, but know enough about other areas “to be dangerous.”

Off the clock, Caroline recharges with her family, traveling together as much as possible. And through the grind of the workday, her motivation turns back to her family. She hopes her kids will be proud of her one day.
